Dear Friends in the Northwest
This weekend, we are keeping as All Saints Sunday with services in Kinlochbervie (The Ceilidh House) at 12 noon on Saturday and in Ullapool on Sunday.
Next Sunday, the twenty-third Sunday after Pentecost, there will be a service in Ullapool at which Bishop Mark will be preaching and presiding. The service will be followed by a bring and share lunch.
On Thursday 2nd November, there will be a service for All Souls Day in St Mary’s Ullapool at 11 a.m. This is the day on which the church remembers the vast company of the faithful departed, and especially family and friends. I should be grateful if you would let me know the names of any people you would like to be remembered at this service – anyone who is important to you can be included, they do not need to have connection with the church or this area, or to have died recently, and you do not need to be attending the service. I have the list from last year and welcome any additional names from across the charge.
A correction: the next date for Green Screen is Thursday 23rd November (not 9th) – my apologies for any confusion. More details to follow later.
The next meeting of the monthly Bible study group, looking at Parables, will be on Monday 13th November at 5.00p.m. at Joy’s house.
With love and prayers
Rev’d Clare
