The Word This Week – 24th December

Dear Friends in the Northwest

This Sunday is the fourth Sunday in Advent and also Christmas Eve. Services for this weekend and Christmas Day are in the Services section of this website.

There will not be a service on Wednesday 27th December in Ullapool. Next Sunday, there will be the usual service at 10.00 a.m. in Ullapool.

I am planning to take a few days off from Boxing Day through to 30th December. Should you require the services of a priest, I will be available by phone. Alternatively you may contact Fr John Green who is available for emergency pastoral support.

In the new year, St Mary’s will, once again, be collecting any unwanted calendars and diaries for use by the chaplain at Inverness prison. These should be for 2024 and should not contain pictures of children. Ideally, they should not have a wire spiral binding, but these can be replaced if necessary.
