This Sunday, we celebrate the Feast of All Saints; there will be a service in Ullapool.
The Feast of All Souls, the day on which the church remembers the vast company of the faithful departed, and especially family and friends, is on Monday 2nd November. There will be a service at 11.00 a.m. in St Mary’s Ullapool. If you would like a relative or friend remembered at this service, there is a sheet at the back of St Mary’s. You can also email me with names of those you would like remembered. You do not have to be attending the service to have a loved one included.
Next Sunday, 8th November, is Remembrance Sunday, when many of us will be participating in Acts of Remembrance in our own communities. In Ullapool, there will be a said Eucharist in St Mary’s at 9.00 a.m. followed by the community Service of Remembrance in the Church of Scotland at 10.00 a.m., and then the act of Remembrance at the War Memorial at 10.55 a.m.
The monthly Bible Study Group will meet on Monday 9th November at 5.00 p.m. at Joy’s house. The group will be continuing to look at the shorter letters of the New Testament.
