Dear Friends in the Northwest
This Sunday is the eighth Sunday after Pentecost. It being the second Sunday in July, we also keep this day as Sea Sunday. This week, there will be a service in Ullapool, and next week, the ninth Sunday after Pentecost, there will be services in Ullapool and Achiltibuie.
In case you missed it last week, we have received an invitation from the diocese that there will be a Festal Choral Evensong to mark the 150th anniversary of the consecration of the Cathedral in the Cathedral on Sunday 29th September at 5.30 p.m., followed by refreshments. If you plan to attend, you are asked to RSVP to office or 01463 225553. If anyone would like to go and share transport, please let me know. (It is a 5th Sunday of the month, so we do not have any afternoon services in our charge that day!)
