This Sunday is the Ninth Sunday after Pentecost. This Sunday, there will be a service in Ullapool. Next Sunday, there will be services in Ullapool and Achiltibuie. In Ullapool, we will be keeping the Feast of St Mary the Virgin, and there will be a bring and share lunch after the service. We warmly welcome members of the other congregations to join us if they wish to do so.
On Monday this week, 11th August, the monthly Bible study group will meet at 5.00 pm at Joy’s house to continue the series of studies on Prayer.
Looking ahead, on Sunday 7th September, we will be welcoming Rev’d Canon Tembu Rongong and the choir of Holy Trinity Elgin to sing choral Evensong for us in Ullapool at 5.30 p.m. (For those who don’t know, Tembu and his family have connections with Assynt, where his family have a home.) Even if you don’t usually come to Evensong, please consider it this time as the choir are coming a long way to sing this special service for us.
