Church has always been important for me, first growing up with a Baptist minister mother, then developing my own faith (and doubts!) as I grew into adulthood and eventually parenthood. When I moved to Ullapool with my husband and two young children in 2014, I looked for a church family that was welcoming, compassionate and socially conscious, eventually finding it in St Mary’s. We have felt we belonged ever since, and we worship and contribute when we can around our hectic lives. I have served on the Vestry for several years, and was appointed Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Coordinator in 2023.
