This Sunday is the second after Epiphany; there will be services in Ullapool and Achiltibuie. Next weekend, the third Sunday after Epiphany, there will be a service in Kinlochbervie on Saturday and in Ullapool and Lochinver on Sunday.
The Diocesan Mission and Ministry Board would like to invite you a meeting with Bishop Mark on Saturday 8th Feb from 10.30am to 3.00pm in the Cathedral. At the meeting, Bishop Mark will be unveiling his mission and ministry vision for the diocese and there will be time for worshipping, praying and thinking about how we build God’s Kingdom together with joy and hope. The day is open to all, but they particularly invite treasurers, all those involved in ministry and those on vestries to attend. If you are interested in attending, please let Rev’d Clare know in the first instance as we have to send in numbers.
St Mary’s Ullapool is collecting any unwanted calendars and diaries for use by the chaplain at Inverness prison. These should be for 2025 and should not contain pictures of children. Ideally, they should not have a spiral binding, but these can be replaced if necessary. If members of the congregations at Achiltibuie, Lochinver or Kinlochbervie have items to contribute, they will be gratefully received. Please either give them to me at this month’s services or get someone to put them in the mailbox at the church when they are in Ullapool.
