The Word This Week – 25th December

Happy Christmas! However you are celebrating this festival, I wish you the peace and joy brought by the Christ-child. My thanks to Ven John Green who has kindly provided our Christmas reflection this year.

On Sunday, the first after Christmas, there will be a service in Ullapool at the usual time of 10.00 am. There will not be a service on Wednesday 1st January in Ullapool.

After Christmas and over the New Year, apart from Sunday, I will be ‘lying low’ for a bit of rest. However, I will be available using my mobile number and by email should you need me.

In the new year, St Mary’s will, once again, be collecting any unwanted calendars and diaries for use by the chaplain at Inverness prison. These should be for 2025 and should not contain pictures of children. Ideally, they should not have a wire spiral binding, but these can be replaced if necessary.
