Dear Friends in the Northwest
This Sunday is the second Sunday in Lent. This Sunday and next, there will be a service in Ullapool.
Our Lent course, Faith in a Time of Ecological Chaos, prepared by Fr David Higgon, continues on Sunday at 11.30 a.m. in St Mary’s. If you are unable to attend but would like to receive the handouts, please let me know if you have not already done so.
The monthly Bible study group, looking at some of the Parables, will hold its March meeting on Monday 13th March at 5.00p.m. at Joy’s home: 51, St Valery Place, Ullapool.
I will be away from Monday 13th March to Thursday 16th March on the Diocesan Clergy Retreat near Thurso. Please feel free to contact me during that time if you need to – it is not a holiday!
Fair Trade Fortnight continues this week. There are one or two events taking place in Ullapool (see the notice in church and in the Ullapool News) and it remains an opportunity to consider what we purchase and the impact we have through our choices on people across the world.
With love and prayers
Rev’d Clare
