Dear Friends in the Northwest
This Sunday is the fourth Sunday after Epiphany; there will services in Kinlochbervie (The Ceilidh House) on Saturday and Ullapool on Sunday. Next Sunday, we will keep as Candlemas Sunday; there will be a service in Ullapool.
Looking ahead, St Mary’s will be holding a pancake party on Shrove Tuesday (21st February) at 5.00pm. All welcome – more details later. The following day is Ash Wednesday (22nd February); if you have your palm cross from last year and would like me to burn it for this year’s ashes, please give it to me by Sunday 20th February.
I have received a letter from Blythswood Care advertising their ‘Three Peaks Challenge’ from 23rd to 25th June to raise funds for the charity. If you are interested, there is more information on their website (w.blythswood.org/events-for-you)
