Dear Friends in the Northwest
I hope that you all had a peaceful Christmas. This Sunday, 1st January is the day which the church keeps as The Naming of Jesus. This Sunday and next, there will be a service in St Mary’s Ullapool. Next Sunday, 8th January, will be kept as the Feast of the Epiphany.
During last year, as part of discussions planning for the future of St Mary’s, there was a request for a regular Bible Study. It has been agreed that this will be a monthly event taking place on the second Monday of each month from 5.00-6.00 p.m. at Joy Garnett’s house, starting on Monday 9th January 2023. All are welcome. It would be helpful if you could let me know if you are planning to attend so we have an idea of numbers.
I have been notified that the Province is planning a Pilgrimage to the Holy Land in April 2024 led by Rev’d Canon Cedric Blakey and Most Rev’d Mark Strange. Further information is available from Canon Blakey.
