Dear Friends in the Northwest,
This Sunday is Remembrance Sunday. There will be a said service at 9.00 a.m. in St Mary’s Ullapool prior to the Service of Remembrance at the Church of Scotland at 9.45 a.m. Next Sunday is the Feast of Christ the King, the last Sunday in the Christian year. Bishop Mark will be preaching and presiding at our services in Ullapool, at which Silas and Caleb Brown will be baptised, and in Achiltibuie.
A reminder next Saturday, 19th November, we have the study day at St Mary’s, Ullapool with Bishop Rob Hardwick, beginning at 10 a.m. with refreshments and finishing mid-afternoon. I hope that everyone who is planning to attend has let me know by now but please contact me if you have not. I will be emailing out some details to participants early in the week.
Advance notice that the Annual Congregational Meeting of St Mary’s Ullapool will take place on Sunday 4th December after our usual service.
Finally, my grateful thanks to Father David for taking the services while I was away, and to him and Fr John for providing pastoral cover for the congregations in my absence.
