Dear Friends in the Northwest,
Alleluia! Christ is Risen! He is risen indeed! Alleluia!
After the solemnity, loss and desolation of Holy Week, we come to the joy of Easter, celebrating Christ’s resurrection and his victory over death. I would like to wish you and yours a very happy Easter.
It has been a joy to be able to meet some of you at services on Palm Sunday and during Holy week, including some for the first time, and I look forward to meeting others at the Easter services we are able to hold. However, I remain conscious that there are others who are unable to attend services at present and I continue to hold you all in prayer. As restrictions are eased, home visits other than for emergencies will become possible again and, ultimately, I look forward to the day when we can resume a more normal pattern of worship together. Meanwhile, if you would like to attend any of our services, please do remember to let me know in advance, and if you would like any further information on the arrangements for these, please ask.
With love and prayers,
