Dear Friends in the Northwest,
Today is the fourth Sunday of Easter, also known as Good Shepherd Sunday and Vocations Sunday – more of that later. There are services this Sunday at Ullapool (10.00 a.m.), Inchnadamph Old Kirk (2.30 p.m.) and Scourie Village Hall (6.00 p.m.). Please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you would like to attend a service, or are thinking of doing so. It is necessary that I know who is coming so that we remain compliant with the Covid regulations. However, some people have assumed that our services have been fully ‘booked’ but, in practice, this has rarely been the case. Mostly, it is only at Inchnadamph because the space there is the most limited.
It was good to hear on Tuesday that restrictions across Scotland are being further relaxed next week, although it will, no doubt, mean our area becomes busier with visitors. As far as I am aware, however, there are no changes to the arrangements for services at present. We will be advised by the Province when anything changes. Meanwhile, I am able to meet with people in gardens so, if you would like a visit (on a nice day!), please do let me know.
As we enjoy further freedoms, please continue to hold in prayer those parts of the world where the virus continues to cause devastating loss.
With love and prayers,
